My Inspiration
The inspiration for my art is rooted in nature, I take an organic and intuitive approach. The shapes represented in my paintings are just an excuse to use color in an exciting and compelling way. Color and paint are my guides, along with a few butterflies that live in my backyard.
My Background
I reside and create my art in Half Moon Bay, California, where the serene ocean and the wonders of nature serve as my constant sources of inspiration. I received my artistic education at Indiana University, and I take great pleasure in capturing the beauty of the world through the expressive medium of color and paint.
My Medium
My Medium
Paint is my chocolate. I create with acrylic paint using sponges, plastic wrap and sticks to apply my colors. I layer the paint to add dimension and mystery to the surface of the artwork.
